Installing the Macintosh Telnet 3270 program
Click here to download the Macintosh Telnet 3270 program.
After it is downloaded double click on the tn3270_x_3.2.4.dmg file.
It will mount a virtual disk called tn3270 X 3.2.4
Create a new folder named 3270.
Move the items from the tn3270 X 3.2.4 window into the 3270 folder.
Move the tn3270_x_3.2.4.dmg file to the trash.
Move the 3270 folder to the Applications folder on your hard drive.
Once it is moved, open the 3270 folder.
Double click on the tn3270 X (icon of blue IBM box).
In the Host Name line type uncsmvs.nebraska.edu
Click on the Special icon
Select the SSL and Negotiate SSL buttons then OK.
Then click on the Open Connection button.
This will open a telnet window with a University of Nebraska Computing Services Network menu.
Pull down the file menu and select Save Default Settings.
Type in a C to select UTSPCICS (CICS Terminal Owning Region)
This will take you to the CICS logon page
